I have another blog post! Woo.
It is a review/swatch-a-thon for the Glitter Collection from Kiki London.
This is a five piece collection, three of which are glitter toppers (can be made opaque enough to cover full nail) and two coloured polishes with glitter in them. I actually love every single one in the collection – which is surprising for me as I usually dislike one. *usually the pink – but I love this one*
At the minute the full collection is only £18.95 for all five polishes, it’s usually £39.95 so that is a massive saving! You can also get a further 10% off using ‘nailsbykt’ to make it even cheaper. They are £3.95 individually if you didn’t fancy the full collection, again you can get a further 10% off using my code.
Now, time for the best bit… Swatch photos!
All of the swathes are three layers (although Starstuck and Day Dream only needed two). The three glitter polishes were one thin layer and two thicker ones to make them more opaque.
I actually can not decide a favourite from the collection, I love Starstuck *its basically all my favourite things, blue,purple and sparkly however I love the chunky glitter polishes too, they stand out on your nails and are super sparkly. Day Dream I am so surprised I like but the colour is lovely, and I love what the stamping I paired it with I think it is a good combo.
Here are the bottle shots – just in case anyone was interested in what the bottle looks like;
I actually really like the bottles – I love how you know what the polish is by the bottle as I have some gel polishes that are in a black bottle with no obvious signs/names/colour patches of what is inside the only way to know is to open each of them up and look.
Now for some nail art. Some of these turned out to be a fail but you never know unless you try! My absolute favourite is Day Dream and my black skulls and roses!
I always worry with some gel polish brands that they will be difficult to use, but these polishes are just like a regular thick nail polish but obviously don’t dry until you say *making clean up a breeze* The consistency is a little thick for the three glitter topper ones but nothing unmanageable. They self level – which for me a is a huge bonus because I am useless at making my polish ‘none bumpy’. I would recommend these products to anyone looking for a affordable but high quality product!
I hope you enjoyed my review on these lovely polishes!
