Makeup Revolution – Life on the Dance Floor Review

One of the palettes I received at Christmas was the limited edition Life on the Dance Floor eye shadow palette. Make Up Revolution released three limited edition eye shadow palettes and this one out of the three is the only one that really appealed to me, I just liked the colours a lot more and I am not a fan of the gold and rose gold cases of the other two.

There are some exceptional colours in this palette, it is mainly shimmers with a few matte shades (7 matte shades and 17 shimmer shades). The shimmers are stunning and are so pigmented – the colours are just so ‘me’.

The matte shades are great as transition colours and are various shades of brown and one matte black. Some of the brown matte shades are not super pigmented but are totally build able, the matte black is great considering this is a drug store brand – usually blacks are really hard to get right but this one isn’t powdery and is pigmented.

Line 4

My favourite line is line 2 or line 3, I simply can not make up my mind they are all so beautiful. The only reason line 4 isn’t my favourite as it has a pink shade which I usually wouldn’t wear.

I have created a look using this palette which I wore to my works night out – again I AM NO PROFESSIONAL and only wear make up on occasions. Who knew it would be this hard to take photos of your face and eyes! Can anyone recommend a mascara?! Looking at this photo made me realise this one is doing nothing for my eyelashes.

I will have more beauty content on my blog this year, so make sure you give me a follow so you don’t miss it.

Thank you for reading,

Katie, xox.
